What are the various reasons that a Hard Disk will fail? |

Overheat, Dust, Shock, Humidity, Manufacturer’s defects. Hard Disk fails regularly because of these reasons. It is exactly because of this failure rate that we put in a RAID to prevent data loss and to ensure ease of recovery when one of the hard disk does fail. We regularly do tests and source for the most reliable manufacturer / brand for REDiSAFE in order to reduce this risk to the lowest. |

How definite can I be that my data remains intact in circumstances where there is faulty hardware? (For eg. Hard Disk Failure)? |

All our units are equipped with RAID Technology. This will help in minimizing any data loss as a result of Hard Disk failure. In addition, customers have the option of buying a REDiSAFE Remote Server. |

The system will send out emails for hard disk failure only. |
