| REDiSAFE Mail Backup is equipped with the ability to minimize any possible email loss encountered by users. REDiSAFE backs-up emails instantaneously onto the user’s local hard disk when new or amended emails are detected. Synchronization between the user’s local hard disk and the REDiSAFE Server will take place every 15 minutes by default. During synchronization, the emails residing on the user’s local hard disk are synchronized to the REDiSAFE Server. Upon completion, the backed-up copy that was residing on the user’s local hard disk will be automatically deleted. This helps to prevent any duplication of backups and any wastage in the user’s hard disk. |
REDiSAFE Mail Backup also allows for manual backups. Users just simply need to select the icon Snapshot Now . A full backup will then be done. During synchronization, the emails backed up from the full backup will be filtered with those already existing on the REDiSAFE Server, allowing only new or amended emails to be backed up to the REDiSAFE Server. |
